A weekend of adrenaline is making its way to the Magic City in the form of the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix. Undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated sporting events of the year, the weekend promises to be full of exhilarating races and some of the hottest events. From watch parties to menu specials and massive activations, Miami is abuzz with exciting things to do all weekend long.

Here are some of the can’t miss events along with some more chill watch parties for those who want to be part of the F1 festivities but won’t actually be at the race this weekend in South Florida.

SWARM’s Wynwood’s Racing Fan Fest x Us Weekly

SWARM is partnering with Us Weekly, the world-renowned media giant based in New York City, to present Racing Fan Fest 2022. Taking place from Thursday, May 5th to Sunday, May 8th from noon to 3am. The event, located at 2250 NW Second Avenue in Wynwood, will be host to 5-time world champion team Oracle Red Bull racing, as well as Scuderia AlphaTauri. Inside Racing Fan Fest, fans can expect to experience cutting-edge entertainment and culinary concepts, including The Red Bull Fan Zone, Official Formula 1 Merch Store, international performances by world class DJs, an unforgettable nightclub take over with Nebula, a partnership with E11EVEN Vodka, an AT+T VR Racing Simulators Activation, The Kid Zone, and so much more.

FTX Off The Grid’s Electric Beach

FTX will be taking over Miami Beach, transforming almost three entire blocks into an all-immersive ‘Electric Beach’ themed three-day activation – FTX Off The Grid. Free to the public by day, and ticketed performances by night, the event will host a series of unique and immersive experiences at the intersection of crypto, culture, and cars and will turn into a full-blown concert spectacle featuring top headliner performers (Disclosure, Kaytranada, Jamie XX, etc.) each night. They’ll also be closing down the streets to have F1 cars race up and down Ocean Drive on both Saturday and Sunday to kick-off each day.

Embrace the Official Toast of F1 with Ferrari Trento

This partnership marks the first time in nearly a century that an Italian sparkling wine has knocked Champagne off the iconic F1 podium. A luxury, award-winning winery producing traditional Champagne method sparkling wines in the Trentodoc region of Italy is featuring a Limited Edition F1 collection with a specially designed bottle for the city of Miami. Those who want to be part of the festivities can find the limited edition Ferrari at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Prime Italian, Sardinia Restaurant, Stiltsville, and Dolce Italian — as well as Total Wines throughout South Florida.

Loews Miami Beach Hotel unveils newly designed 2022 FORMULA 1 show car

DHL Express, the Official Logistics Partner of F1, is celebrating the Miami race by delivering an F1 show car to be unveiled at the iconic Loews Miami Beach Hotel. The public will be able to see the newly-designed 2022 race car up close, beachfront at Loews Miami Beach Hotel, May 4-5. For diehard motorsports fans, IndyCar race driver and former F1 driver Romain Grosjean will be onsite to greet fans on May 4 during the unveiling event. F1 fans can enjoy the Official F1 Show Car on the beach, and then go inside to Bar Collins to sip on new cocktails (like the Old Man & The Bee made with Mitcher’s Rye Old Fashioned with fresh honeycomb) and enjoy a special F1 Miami Grand Prix steakhouse themed menu to be served through the weekend.

Brugal 1888, is hosting its next “Wonders Await at La Ventanita” – a rotating neighborhood popup series inspired by Miami’s coffee culture – in the lobby at Fontainebleau Miami Beach just in time for Formula 1 weekend, featuring art installations by globally renowned Mexican artist Cesar Menchaca. From May 6 to 8, guests can enjoy cafecito and pastelito by day and a lively Brugal 1888 rum bar by nightfall. Master mixologists and esteemed local bartenders will shake up craft cocktails showcasing the premium rum – such as the signature Don Nano’s Favorite with Brugal 1888 and a coconut water ice sphere while sharing stories of the legendary Brugal family. Art installations will include Menchaca’s limited-edition Brugal 1888 bottles colorfully adorned with Huichol art and F1 inspired helmets and model cars.

Mickey Burkes has you covered with brunch specials featuring a delicious I Love My Hammy (honey-baked ham + black kassel smoked speck ham + oak-smoked cheddar + red onion marmalade + spiced apple butter + shaved fennel + butter-grilled white mountain bread).
