Santa’s Emergency Christmas Drive, sponsored by Harmon House Care Center and Mt. Pleasant Medic 10, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays, Nov. 4, 11, 18 and 25, and Saturdays, Nov. 12 and 26 at Harmon House, 601 S. Church St., Mt. Pleasant. Help stuff an ambulance with unopened toys for local underprivileged children. Santa will be available for free visits and photos on Nov. 25.
Bullskin Senior Center breakfast fundraiser will be held 8 to 11 a.m. Nov. 5 at its location at 52 Medsger Road, Connellsville. The breakfasts will be held the first Saturday of the month, weather permitting. Breakfast includes regular or buckwheat pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits with sausage gravy, ham, potatoes, coffee, tea, and juice. Cost is $10 for adults; $5 for children under 12 and children younger than 6 eat for free. It is takeout or eat in.
The annual Coal and Coke Trail Comedy Night fundraiser will be held Nov. 5 at Scottdale Firemen’s Club, 405 Porter Ave., Scottdale. There will be food, a cash bar, 50-50 drawings and basket auctions. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $35 and include dinner. The City of Connellsville and Penn Highlands Healthcare Connellsville are partnering to host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the city’s new Infectious Disease Emergency Response Center on the lower level of the East Side Fire Hall from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 4.
This is a walk-in clinic and is open to anyone 12 years of age or older.
