Yoga is for everybody. If you can breathe, you can do Yoga. This class is perfect for the beginner.

Millertown Community Church, 224 Millertown Road, Normalville will conduct a trunk-or-treat 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 29.
Mt. Macrina Manor will sponsor a trunk-or-treat 2 to 5 p.m. Oct. 29. There will be a trunk or treat trail, food tucks, local vendors, picture props, inflatable slide, carnival games, 50-50 and basket raffle.
Breakfast will be served 8 to 10:30 a.m. Oct. 29 at Breakneck Church of God Fellowship Hall, Breakneck Road, Connellsville. Two meals will be available.
Meal 1 includes two eggs any way, two pancakes, homemade home fries with and without onions and green peppers, choice of two sausage links or two strips of bacon and toast.
Meal 2 includes homemade sausage gravy over biscuits and home fries.
Both meals will be served with choice of coffee or orange drinks.

Springfield Township supervisors set trick-or-treat for 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31. The Halloween parade will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 29.
The free monthly community lunch will be served at Central Fellowship Church, 316 N. Arch St., Connellsville, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 29. One lunch per person and no deliveries. Eat in opens at 11 and takeout begins at noon.
Visitation Church is sponsoring a homemade cavatelli and meatballs or spaghetti and meatballs dinner Saturday 4 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 29 at the Visitation Community Center.
Menu consists of homemade cavatelli or spaghetti, (or half of each pasta) meatballs, salad, bread, dessert and beverages. Cost is $15 for adults and $7.50 for children 12 and younger. Toddlers 3 and younger eat for free.

Conn-Area Catholic School will hold a Monster Mash Bash featuring the Jason Kendall Productions on Oct. 29 at New Haven Hose Company Social Hall.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and entertainment starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20. It is a 21-years-old and over event.
Featured will be raffles, 50-50, cash bar, and food sold a la carte.

Vanderbilt trick-or-treat will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Oct. 29.
Laurelville Women’s Outdoor Adventure Club will sponsor a hike Oct. 30 at Kimberly Run Trail in Somerset. Meet at Laurelville at 12:30 p.m. and then the group will carpool/caravan to Kimberly Run Trail in Somerset. Parking there is limited. If meeting there, meet at 1:15pm. Group will hike one or both loops. Bring water, snacks, walking sticks, and wear appropriate shoes/layers. There is $10 donation.
Trick-or-treat in Connellsville
Trick or treat is scheduled 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31 In Connellsville, Connellsville Township and South Connellsville.
Trick-or-treat in Dunbar Township is scheduled 4 to 6 P.M. Oct. 30. The Dickerson Run area will have trick or treat 1 to 2 p.m. Oct. 29, the same time as Vanderbilt.
An all-the-cakes-you-can-eat pancakes and buckwheat cakes and sausage breakfast will be held 7 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 30 at St. Rita Bucci Hall, Connellsville.
Cost is $7 for adults and $2 for those 12 years and younger. It is sponsored by the St. Rita’s Holy Name Society.
Upper Tyrone Township has set trick-or-treat 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 30.
The 40th Annual Carpatho-Rusyn Celebration will be held Oct. 30 at St. John the Baptist Church in Uniontown, located at 201 E. Main St.
The annual ethnic festival in the Parish Social Hall from noon to 5 p.m. Divine Liturgy for the day will be 10:30 a.m. with some parts in Church Slavonic. There will be ethnic foods such as holubki, pirohi, halushki, kolbasi and sauerkraut, soup, pagach, baked goods (long rolls, a variety of pastries, cakes, kolachi, breads, and much more). This annual event will feature performances of Rusyn Folk music by “Rusynsky Betjare” starting at 12:30 p.m. and continuing throughout the afternoon. There will be a speaker and/or video presentations on Rusyn cultural aspects such as customs and traditions. The day will include a display of artifacts, authentic costumes, models of Rusyn wooden churches, photographs, and documents. There will be folk art demonstrations such as pysanky, embroidery, iconography, bobbin lace making, as well as a church tour, and children’s activities. Crafts, embroidered Easter basket covers, parish cookbook ”Carpathian Cookery” will be for sale, raffles, and more. Subject to change. Father Vasyl Symyon is pastor. Handicapped accessible. Scottdale plans Halloween parade
Scottdale Parks Commission will host a Halloween parade at 6 p.m. Oct. 31. Lineup begins 5 p.m. at Southmoreland Elementary/Middle School parking lot. Trick or treat will be held immediately following the parade until 8 p.m.
Santa’s Emergency Christmas Drive, sponsored by Harmon House Care Center and Mt. Pleasant Medic 10, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays, Nov. 4, 11, 18 and 25, and Saturdays, Nov. 12 and 26 at Harmon House, 601 S. Church St., Mt. Pleasant. Help stuff an ambulance with unopened toys for local underprivileged children. Santa will be available for free visits and photos on Nov. 25.

Election Day dinners available
